The course aims to give students the tools to understand how businesses and consumers make their decisions and how these decisions interact in markets. The course also focuses on more recent developments necessary to prepare students to the questions and methods used in economics.
In particular, the course will focus on the applications of Game Theory to the study of oligopolistic markets.
