Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
The course aims to analyze the principles of corporate finance by extending the criteria underlying the capital budgeting decisions, the relevant variables in the choices of capital structure and financing instruments in the short and medium-long-term which can be used by industrial firms to coverage their financial needs.
Examination Methods
La prova d’esame è scritta ed è diretta ad accertare la conoscenza degli argomenti in programma. Consiste in 3 quesiti (domande teoriche ed esercizi).
È prevista una prova intermedia a cui lo studente potrà decidere di partecipare.
La prova intermedia verterà sui seguenti argomenti:
- i principi della finanza aziendale: concetti introduttivi;
- la determinazione dei flussi di cassa rilevanti e del costo del capitale nel criterio del net present value;
- le decisioni di struttura finanziaria. I benefici e i costi del ricorso al debito.
La prova intermedia consiste in uno scritto con 3 quesiti (domande teoriche ed esercizi).
Coloro che supereranno la prova intermedia dovranno sostenere, in corrispondenza di uno degli appelli previsti nella sessione immediatamente successiva al semestre in cui è stato impartito il corso, una prova avente per oggetto i rimanenti argomenti del corso, ovvero:
- le forme tecniche di finanziamento a medio lungo termine: il mutuo e il leasing finanziario.
- le forme tecniche di finanziamento a breve termine: l’apertura di credito in conto corrente, lo sconto cambiario, gli anticipi salvo buon fine su fatture e ricevute bancarie e l’anticipazione garantita.
- il factoring: caratteristiche tecniche dello strumento.
- gli strumenti d’indebitamento a breve da parte delle imprese: le accettazioni bancarie, le polizze di credito commerciale e le cambiali finanziarie.
- gli strumenti di pagamento nel commercio internazionale.
- introduzione al corporate financial risk management.
Anche la prova sulla rimanente parte del programma consiste in uno scritto con 3 quesiti (domande teoriche ed esercizi).
Rispetto al voto finale, il risultato conseguito nella prova intermedia avrà un peso pari al 50%.
Indicazioni ulteriori in merito alla prova intermedia saranno messe a disposizione, prima dell’inizio del corso, sulla piattaforma e-learning.
