Learning outcomes

The course Agricultural chemistry is organized in two unit highly integrated, for this reason the aim of the course is unique and reported in section objectives of the entire course.

Program

Structure and functions of biomolecules: amino acids and proteins, carbohydrates, lipids. Enzymes: kinetic, inhibition, regulation. Notes on cellular energetics. Membranes: functions, transport systems, characteristics of membrane proteins. Oxidation of sugars, ADP phopsphorilation. Penthose phosphate cycle. Photosyntesis in C3 plants.
