Learning outcomes
Medical students should be able to know about the epidemiology, classification, pathophysiology, clinical as well as methodological, diagnostic istopathological and principles of treatments of more common or more relevant hematological, reumathological, allergic, gastroenterological, infectious and cutaneous disorders.
Dermatology:
The objective is to make the student able for a proper history and physical examination of the skin. The student should develop and mature the ability to operate an integration of all the information gathered through medical history, physical examination and clinical-instrumental investigations, in order to formulate a plausible interpretation of the clinical picture and diagnostic hypotheses. In addition, the student should learn about general therapeutic approach to different skin diseases. The student will also be able to evaluate and integrate dermatological clinical features with the general state of the patient.

DERMATOLOGY:
Basic principles of skin, mucous membranes and adnexal anatomy an physiology
Specialistic methodology and semeiotic, primary cutaneous lesions.
Pruritus
Bacterial diseases (erysipelas, cellulitis, foruncle, impetigo, folliculitis, Gram- intertrigo, scarlet fever)
Fungal diseases (dermatophytosis , pityriasis versicolor , candidosis)
Viral diseases (herpes simplex, herpes zoster,Chickenpox , HPV diseases, molluscum contagiosum, hand-foot-mouth disease)
Infestations: scabies, pediculosis, insect bites
Acne vulgaris, rosacea
Eczematous disease (atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis , sebborrheic dermatites)
Urticaria and angioedema
Psoriasis
Vesciculobullous disease(pemphigus, pemphigoid, dermatitis herpetiformis)
