Knowledge of the basic physiological mechanisms regulating the function of the immune system in the protection from diseases, and of the immune system pathology, with particular attention to hypersensitivity, autoimmunity and immunodeficiency.
Knowledge of the basic principles underlying the most common laboratory practices of the immunologist and of the immunopathologist
