instrumentation, the disinfection and the root canal system filling. Students will be able to understand
the basic knowledge of ergonomics and endodontic treatment management with due regard for
periodontal tissues and adjacent structures. In addition, they will learn the characteristics of materials
and equipment used in endodontics.
Program
During the practical part of the course, students will apply the theoretical knowledge of
nomenclature, classification, morphology and endodontic anatomy in a simulated environment
(extracted teeth and endodontic simulators) practicing pulp chamber opening stages,
instrumentation and root canal filling in maxillary and mandibular incisors, canines, premolars and molars,
diseases of the pulp and periradicular tissues;
