How to enrol

PLEASE NOTE! Before starting the registration procedure, you should have on hand a scanned copy of a valid ID document and a passport-type ID photo that meets the requirements specified in the attached file, “ID photo instructions”.

--> If you are a new student of the University of Verona:

1.   Get registered on ESSE3: after registering an account, you will receive a username and password so that you can log in to the system. Please keep a record of your credentials for future access.
2.   Click on “Procedi con l’autenticazione” [Proceed with the authentication] and complete the registration process following the instructions online.

--> If you are currently a student at the University of Verona, log in to  ESSE3 and complete the registration process following the instructions online.

--> If you have been awarded a scholarship or grant:

1.   Go back to the online procedure (https://univr.esse3.cineca.it/Start.do) with the username and password you used to pre-enrol for the test, click on the REGISTRATION button and complete the registration process following the instructions online before the deadline given in the call for applications.

Special cases:
Students with a non-Italian academic qualification: please visit the Foreign Students’ Office with all the documents relating to your foreign qualification.
Disabled students: please contact the Student Disabilities Centre
Students who can benefit from Law no. 118/1971: for a student fees reduction, please contact the Scholarships and Grants Office
Students transferring from another university: follow point 1 above, but wait to be contacted by the Student Administration Office before paying any fees.

Requirements for admissions

Requisiti curriculari
Per l'ammissione al Corso di Laurea Magistrale viene richiesto:
  • il possesso di un diploma di laurea, laurea triennale di qualsiasi classe o di qualsiasi altro titolo conseguito all'estero riconosciuto idoneo secondo la normativa vigente,
  • il possesso di almeno 60 CFU in SSD del gruppo INF/01 o ING-INF, collezionati complessivamente dallo studente nel percorso di Laurea o Laurea Magistrale di provenienza.
Tra le conoscenze/competenze che lo studente deve possedere per frequentare utilmente il corso, vi sono la conoscenze di base della matematica del continuo, la capacità di specificare ed analizzare un algoritmo in termini della sua complessità concreta e delle strutture dati ad esso correlate, la capacità di utilizzare un linguaggio di programmazione ad oggetti, la conoscenza della architettura degli elaboratori, dei principali protocolli di rete, la conoscenza dei principi dei sistemi operativi, delle basi di dati, dei modelli di calcolo e della gestione delle risorse.

Modalità di verifica della preparazione iniziale
Coloro che hanno conseguito la laurea nelle classi 9 o 26 (D.M. 509/99) o L-8 o L-31 (D.M. 270/04) sono ammessi senza alcuna ulteriore valutazione se hanno ottenuto una votazione di Laurea superiore o uguale a 88/110 entro 10 anni prima della data di richiesta immatricolazione al Corso di Laurea Magistrale.
Per gli studenti che non soddisfano questo vincolo e per gli studenti che hanno conseguito un diploma di laurea in altre classi rispetto a quelle elencate e che comunque soddisfino i criteri curricolari sopra esposti, è prevista una valutazione atta a stabilire se la motivazione e le competenze acquisite sono tali da permettere la frequenza del corso di studi con adeguato profitto.
 
Data verifica della preparazione iniziale
La valutazione viene organizzata annualmente con le modalità deliberate dal Collegio Didattico tenendo conto delle tempistiche per l’iscrizione stabilite dall’Ateneo.
L'esito positivo della valutazione dà luogo all'immediata immatricolazione dello studente che ne abbia fatta richiesta. L'esito negativo preclude l'immatricolazione per l'intero A.A. a cui si riferisce la richiesta di immatricolazione.

Transfer from another University

To continue at the University of Verona your course of studies begun at another Italian university, select one of the procedures below, depending on the case in question.

Transfer from another university to the first year

Transfer from another university to years subsequent to the first - Science and Engineering

NB: for all types of incoming transfer, students coming from another university based in the Veneto region who have paid the regional tax to their university of origin for the current academic year are not required to pay it again to the University of Verona. Those who find themselves in this situation are requested to contact the enrolment office (segreteria.immatricolazioni@ateneo.univr.it) before proceeding to the payment of the first instalment, in order to recalculate it. There is no refund of the regional fee except in the case of double payment.


Course change

Transferring a course within the University of Verona is the procedure whereby a student, regularly enrolled in a course of study at the University of Verona, decides to transfer his or her active career to another of the courses offered at the University of Verona (course change). Depending on the number of CFUs sustained and validated, the student may be admitted directly to years subsequent to the first.

NB: Check in the "payments" section of Esse3 that the fees for previous years have been paid, otherwise the course change cannot proceed.


Borse di studio per studentesse e studenti

 

Bando per l'assegnazionedi borse di studio a studentesse e studenti particolarmente meritevoli che intendano iscriversi ad una laurea magistrale del Dipartimento di Informatica per l’anno accademico 2023/2024.

 

Possono partecipare al bando le studentesse e gli studenti in possesso di un diploma di laurea triennale, ottenuto in corso, o che conseguiranno il diploma di laurea triennale entro la sessione di laurea di marzo 2024, e che abbiano maturato, all’atto della domanda, almeno i 2/3 dei CFU necessari all’acquisizione del titolo e che sono iscritti ad uno dei corsi di laurea magistrale indicati all' art. 2 del bando.
