Program
- Methodological approach to clinical evaluation: history, general objective examination and main signs and symptoms, vital signs, principles of inspection, palpation, percussion, auscultation.
- cardiac and vascular assessment: auscultation of cardiac tones and pauses, inspection of jugular vessels, evaluation and interpretation of the main pathologies of arteries and veins, in particular lower limbs ostructive arteriopathy and deep venous trombosis;
- respiratory assessment: inspection, palpation, percussion and thoracic auscultation with recognition of the main pathological respiratory noises (dry and humid) ;
- abdominal assessment: inspection, auscultation, superficial and deep palpation and percussion of the abdomen: interpretation of alterations of peristalsis and intestinal function, liver and spleen palpation, peritoneal effusion.

Didactic methods
The course takes place through lectures as well as integrated simulation models systems will be used for learning the objective examination (in particular for thoraco-abdominal and cardiac objectivity) on the topics defined in the program and with interactive presentation of exemplary clinical cases on the subject dealt with.
Learning assessment procedures
Written multiple choices test with only one correct answer in which it will also be required to know how to define a correct clinical approach in relation to the pathologies covered by the program.
Evaluation criteria
The student must demonstrate that she/he has learned the concepts related to the clinical approach of the issues covered by the program.
