Learning objectives
The course introduces the student to the understanding of the principles of healthcare services management. It focuses on the development of knowledge that bases nursing care organization and delivery and continuity of care. It also deepens professional responsibility, rights, legal obligations and sources of regulation of the employment relationship. LABOUR LAW: The course of labor law aims to bring students closer to the existing work discipline and to the perception of the social dynamics that animate this branch of law in the health sector, in particular with reference to the profession of the speech therapist. It is therefore proposed to investigate the evolution of the discipline as well as the types and regulatory treatments linked to a broad concept of work (subordinate, autonomous, parasubordinate). ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESS At the end of the course the student will be able to: 1. recognize the actual tendencies for studing and understending the organisational events 2. be oriented within a health organization 3. Identify the phases of the organizational socialization process NURSING IN THE ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESS The teaching introduces the students to the comprehension of healthcare services’ organization’s, studying their management precepts. It focuses on dynamics and fundamental elements which allow the caring’s organization integrating different multidisciplinary caring process, choosing the intervention’s priorities and guaranteeing caring continuity. It analyze the professional responsibility, rights, obligations and work relation’s rules. PUBLIC HEALTH The learning aims are to understand the nature of complex systems and health services, to acquire knowledge of management and relations in health processes and health networks, to learn to use the tools to define and develop skill profiles and competence assessment, to acquire basic knowledge and key elements to manage clinical risk and patient safety.
