Prevention of pressure sores, skin tears and incontinence dermatitis
- pressure ulcers, pathophysiology and primary pathomechanical factors
- risk assessment tools
- preventive intervention plan
Urinary elimination (ascertainment, urinary tract infections, chronic and acute urinary retention, avoidability of bladder catheter-associated infections)
Physical examination (integuments, head, eye, ear, chest and lungs, abdomen, vascular, neurological)
Intestinal elimination (intestinal absorption and homeostasis, signs and symptoms of major disorders, tenesmus, constipation, diarrhea, faecal incontinence).
