Program
The course aims to offer students the presentation of topics in myo-osteo-articular traumatology which, from the basis of physiopathology, develop clinical aspects of diagnosis and therapy. Healthcare aspects, intra- and extra-hospital complications will also be covered. A second part will present typical pictures of a purely orthopedic nature, privileging, after discussion of aspects of physiopathology, the pictures of coxarthrosis and gonarthrosis, which are more widespread in the population. Diagnosis and therapy will be covered. Definition and objective examination of major musculoskeletal or soft tissue injuries (sprain, dislocation, etc.) Incidence, etiology, healing stages, early and late complications of fractures (in particular femur fracture) Pathologies of the hip, knee and shoulder, with particular reference to hip, knee and shoulder prostheses Approach to the polyfractured patient (pelvis injuries, polyfractures, etc.) Peculiarities of approach to the child with traumatological problems

Lectures with slide presentation with analysis of real situations to help the student integrate knowledge and clinical experience, case exercises
Learning assessment procedures
Written exam with 15 multiple choice and partly open questions and/or open questions with short answers, semi-structured questions (e.g. paragraph completion). The exam may include an oral interview to supplement the written test
Evaluation criteria
Passed exam with correct pass equal to or greater than 60% (18/30). Passing the course occurs upon passing all modules (at least 18/30).
