Learning outcomes

The students should: acquire basic knowledge about the phyisiopathologic mechanism of the health problems elucidated during the lessons, knowing the most important clinical aspects and complications. They should also learn the fundamental medical treatment and other therapeutic options, being able to face particular cases and to discuss unclear aspects.

Purpose to be implemented and target to be reached
Reflect about various clinical aspects in order to identify critical situations and subsequently take the best decision for the patient. The student should be also able to discuss about ambiguous aspects, well remembering the nurses’ central role in patients care.

Hypertension: definition, epidemiology, physiopathology, causes, classification, early and late complications, treatment
Atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter: definition, epidemiology, physiopathology, causes, classification, early and late complications, medical treatment, ablation and cardioversion, risk of thromboembolism and its prevention, oral anticoagulants
Heart failure: definition, epidemiology, classification, causes, prevention, early diagnosis, treatment of comorbidities, medical and non-medical treatment (sudden cardiac death prevention and cardiac resynchronisation therapy), outpatient clinic and follow-up, malnutrition and its treatment, the central role of dedicated nurses in the follow up
Anaemia: definition, epidemiology physiopathology, causes, clinical diagnosis and laboratory test, therapy in brief
Leukaemia and lymphomas: definition, epidemiology physiopathology, causes, clinical diagnosis and laboratory test, therapy in brief
Rheumatologic diseases: epidemiology, classification and clinical aspects of rheumatic disorders; diagnosis and clinical aspects of arthrosis and rheumatic arthritis
Most important haemorrhagic diseases: short elucidation and treatment in brief

Examination Methods

Written exhamination. 15 multiple choice questions, with only one correct answer.
The questions will deal with the programm elucidated during the lessons.
The student will be assigned 2 point every correct answer and the best result will be 30/30 point as usual.

In case of peristence of COVID restrictions the exhamination will take place orally on-line through open questions

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Carissime Studentesse,

Carissimi Studenti,

di seguito un promemoria relativo alle modalità di erogazione della didattica per il corso di studio in Infermieristica A.A. 2022/2023.

In ottemperanza alle linee guida della Commissione didattica di Ateneo, che prevedono una didattica improntata ad un pieno recupero delle modalità regolari di erogazione in presenza, la Commissione didattica del CdL nella seduta del 29 settembre 2022, ha deliberato il pieno ritorno all’utilizzo della didattica frontale in presenza.

Solo nei casi di comprovata positività al COVID-19, e/o in situazioni di particolare fragilità (sempre correlate alla pandemia) sarà previsto il collegamento sincrono in  modalità streaming; a tal proposito ogni Docente, sulla propria pagina web, darà chiare indicazioni sulla modalità di fruizione della didattica.

La modalità asincrona (registrazioni delle lezioni) non è prevista.

Attività didattiche regime part-time

Modalità di richiesta

La domanda di iscrizione part-time può essere presentata all'inizio di ogni anno accademico e comunque entro il 30 novembre di ogni anno. Entro lo stesso termine, se necessario, lo studente potrà richiedere di tornare al regime full-time.
