Learning outcomes
The teaching aims to study physiopathological aspects, clinical and nursing aspects in emergency situation, selected based on their epidemiological and exemplarity importance in different situations (territory, hospital, home); it focuses on risks’ individuation, on intervention’s complexity and compliance and on patient’s urgent and complex nursing need identifying the priorities.

Examination Methods
The examination is written. Each module of the Course offers multiple choice
questions and open/short answer reasoning questions which provide for the
acquisition of knowledge in clinical nursing in the vital criticality related to
intra- and extra-hospital care in all its organisational contexts. The student
demonstrates that he/she can identify and select suitable behaviours for the
professional competences, declined by roles, in the management of care
processes oriented to the implementation of the best-practice, based on safety
standards of the patient and the operator, in the prevention of complications
derived from the pathology and its treatment, in the use of medical devices and
prescriptions, of medical diagnostic order.
The final result is considered to be positive if at least 18/30ths are passed.
