Learning outcomes

The student knows the pathologies and treatments of the general surgical, orthopedic and traumatological area. The student is able to establish on the basis of specific problems, an assistance and educational plan aimed at the prevention, management and rehabilitation of the patient in the general surgical, orthopedic and traumatological fields.

Program

Anesthesiological risk, types, phases and drugs in anesthesia. Monitoring and transfer criteria from the awakening room to the Operating Unit. The pathophysiology of pain. The management of acute and procedural pain. Postoperative disease. The types of incision and surgical wound.Traditional surgery and minimally invasive surgery. Fast Track Surgery.Surgical and care approach to the person with problems:- In the gastrointestinal tract, liver, biliary tract, with breast cancer.- Traumatological pathologies. In particular, joint sprains, joint dislocations, muscle-tendon stretch, hip and knee fractures and pathologies.- The assistance of the operand-operated in the general surgical, traumatological and orthopedic area.

INTRAOPERATIVE ASSISTANCE:The reception of the operand in the operating room.The positioning of the patient on the operating bed and the maintenance of normothermia during surgery and the prevention of accidental perioperative hypothermia (adults).From the awakening phase (SR) to discharge for the transfer to the hospital unit (OU): supervision and discharge from the Awakening Room (SR), the transfer from the SR to the OU.TAKING CARE OF THE PATIENT IN THE POSTOPERATIVE PHASE:
The reception in the ward and the room, the surveillance and surveillance of the immediate postoperative.
The management of postoperative complications: Urinary retention and Fast Track
Hypotension and fluid Management
Drinking and early feeding
The resumption of peristalsis and resolution of ileus (POI)
Oxygenation and the glycemic profile in the perioperative period
Fatigue and postoperative convalescence
Cognitive disorders and postoperative delirium (POD)
Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV)

Peculiarities of the "care and educational" path of the person operated on:
- Mastectomy- Hemicolectomy
- Gastrectomy
- The person with intestinal and urinary Derivation
- The person with a limb immobilized by a plaster cast and operated hip prosthesis

Examination Methods

Written exam for the teaching in anesthesia-analgesia, orthopedics and surgery and for the teaching of nursing. In the event that the teacher experiences the student's difficulty in passing the written exam in Nursing, he reserves the right to examine the student at the next exam by oral exam.Admission to the exam in Nursing is subject to the positivity of the exam written in the other three (3) Teachings (orthopedic area, anesthesia-analgesia and surgery).

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Carissime Studentesse,

Carissimi Studenti,

di seguito un promemoria relativo alle modalità di erogazione della didattica per il corso di studio in Infermieristica A.A. 2022/2023.

In ottemperanza alle linee guida della Commissione didattica di Ateneo, che prevedono una didattica improntata ad un pieno recupero delle modalità regolari di erogazione in presenza, la Commissione didattica del CdL nella seduta del 29 settembre 2022, ha deliberato il pieno ritorno all’utilizzo della didattica frontale in presenza.

Solo nei casi di comprovata positività al COVID-19, e/o in situazioni di particolare fragilità (sempre correlate alla pandemia) sarà previsto il collegamento sincrono in  modalità streaming; a tal proposito ogni Docente, sulla propria pagina web, darà chiare indicazioni sulla modalità di fruizione della didattica.

La modalità asincrona (registrazioni delle lezioni) non è prevista.

La domanda di iscrizione part-time può essere presentata all'inizio di ogni anno accademico e comunque entro il 30 novembre di ogni anno. Entro lo stesso termine, se necessario, lo studente potrà richiedere di tornare al regime full-time.
