The teaching of surgery and orthopedics deal with clinical pictures of surgical treatment with an ERAS/FAST TRACK approach selected for their epidemiological relevance, they explore the risk and prognostic factors and necessary diagnostic modalities, the surgical technique emphasizing the innovative approaches, the prevalence of both early and late complications with their recognition signs and symptoms, developing them with an integrated surgical and care approach. The patient's problems, which require surgical treatment, will be addressed from the point of view of taking care of them in their evolution from the acute phase to discharge and rehabilitation, through the deepening of evidence-based monitoring, treatment, rehabilitation and educational interventions. This teaching is built on the knowledge of surgical nursing, surveillance, physiopathology and general pathology addressed in the 1st year.

Learning assessment procedures
Written multiple choice exam for Teaching in anesthesia-analgesia (10 questions), orthopedics (10 questions) and surgery (20 questions). Written open-ended exam (7-10 questions) for teaching Nursing. There is no prerequisite between the clinical part and the nursing part. In the event that the teacher verifies the student's difficulties in passing the written test in Nursing, he reserves the right to examine the student in one of the subsequent appeals by means of an oral test.
Evaluation criteria
Final result: total sum of the results for each clinical module divided by 3 + the nursing part divided by 2 (total weight 50% (clinical part) + 50% (nursing part). The final result is to be considered positive upon passing minimum 18 / 30ths of the Teaching.
