L'insegnamento si propone di fornire allo studente le basi culturali per comprendere le patologia materna, che fetale e neonatale che si si possono verificare nel percorso nascita. Verranno inoltre fornite le conoscenze basilari relative alle procedure anestesiologiche in ambito ostetrico-ginecologico, comprese le tecniche antalgiche in travaglio di parto Lo studente sarà inoltre guidato a raccogliere, elaborare ed interpretare le informazioni per pianificare un’assistenza ostetrica woman centered, basata su prove di efficacia, per la donna (gravida e puerpera) e per il neonato nelle situazioni di patologia.
