Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the student with the cultural bases to understand the maternal, fetal and neonatal pathology that can occur during the birth process. The basic knowledge relating to anesthetic procedures in the obstetric-gynecological field will also be provided, including analgesic techniques in childbirth. The student will also be guided to collect, process and interpret information to plan woman-centered obstetric care, based on evidence of efficacy, for the woman (pregnant and puerpera) and for the newborn in pathological situations.
