Learning outcomes
At the conclusion of professional workshops through simulations between students and supports video, the student will be able to:
apply the physiotherapy process to use procedures of observation and evaluation to describe the posture and motor behavior of healthy and not over the different chronological age, perform postural alignment of the person in the other bed sore, facilitating the person in postural changes, transfers and gait by applying the main postural ergonomics standards for the professional according to the legislation in force, using appropriate aids, use the data to identify problems and formulate hypotheses of functional alterations, making the joint mobilization of the districts: respecting articular physiology, using properly the correct jacks.
Program
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
• Know the terms of location of body segments using scientific terminology.
• Observe and describe the postural attitude of the subject in a static situation.
• Detect macroscopic changes in posture.
• Apply the main rules of postural alignment for the patient bedridden or in wheelchairs.
• Know the vital parameters and acquire the technique of detection.
• Define the concept of ergonomics, know the rules for the handling of loads, to know the consequences of postural stress.
• Know the preventive strategies for risk reduction in patient handling.
• Implement a correct handling of loads in respect of safety for the patient and for the operator with and without auxiliaries minor, according to the principles of ergonomics as provided by law.
• Make changes in posture from lying down in bed, to sitting, to standing and back.
• Make the bed-wheelchair transfer and vice versa.
• Identify macroscopic functional alterations.
• Assist ambulation
• Addressing the first approach with the patient in terms of relationships.
• Know and use the folder physiotherapy education.
• Learn the elements of clinical reasoning in order to diagnose functional.
Examination Methods
Examination (written, oral, quiz ...) written and oral sessions / reports / written authorizations / CFD whose outcome will provide an assessment "approved"
