Learning outcomes

The aim of course is to know the main deseases in field of internal medicine, the main techniques used in instrumental and laboratory diagnostics.
Furthermore to illustrate the role of the physiotherapist in the management of the disease and rehabilitative interventions.

Program

ENDOCRINOLOGY
- Diabetes: physiopthalogy, natural history, acute and cronic complications, therapy
- GH related deseases
- Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
- Adrenal deseases.

HEMATOLOGY
- Anemias: classification, main compensation mechanisms, description of most common anemias types
