Introduction to clinical neurology. Anatomo-clinical correlation. Central and peripheral nervous system lesions.
Cerebrovascular diseases: pathophysiology, clinical correlation, imaging and rehabilitation.
Neurodegenerative diseases: molecular aspects and pathophysiology. Alterations of cognitive functions: aphasia; apraxia; agnosia; memory. Evaluation of cognitive functions. Dementias.
Parkinson's disease and parkinsonism. Long-term complication of Parkinson's disease.
Cognitive and motor rehabilitative intervention in neurodegenerative diseases.
Motor neuron diseases
Demyelinating diseases. Physiopathology, clinical forms. Rehabilitation in multiple sclerosis.
Infectious diseases: encephalitis and meningitis.
Epilepsy. pathophysiology of epilepsy. Types of epileptic seizures, etiology and classification.
Radiculopathies, plessopathies and mononeuropathies. Toxic and metabolic polyneuropathies
Acute and chronic poliradicoloneurites (Guillain-Barré syndrome and CIDP)
