Learning outcomes

Fornire conoscenze di biologia umana in una visione evoluzionistica con particolare riferimento ai processi molecolari e cellulari comuni a tutti gli organismi viventi. Fornire conoscenze relative alla trasmissione dell’informazione genetica al fine di poter riconoscere caratteri ereditari normali e patologici



Program

Procarioti ed eucarioti; DNA: struttura, funzione, replicazione; Il flusso informazionale e la sua regolazione
Mutazioni, agenti mutageni. Mutazioni somatiche e cancro. Riproduzione sessuata. Determinazione genetica del sesso. Cariotipo umano normale e patologico. Leggi di Mendel. Ereditarietà mendeliana nell’uomo. Cenni a malattie genetiche di particolare interesse per il fisioterapista. Radiobiologia: effetti biologici delle radiazioni ionizzanti.
