Fornire le conoscenze di base per poter attuare un approccio ottimale alle esigenze sanitarie degli anziani, conoscendo le alterazioni strutturali e soprattutto fisiopatologiche che accompagnano l’invecchiamento e le peculiari modalità di presentazione e di decorso delle patologie che colpiscono tali pazienti.
