Learning outcomes

To understand the impact of neurological diseases on the quality of life and participation in people with neurological disability. To understand the importance of a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach in the assessment and treatment of neurological disability. To know the functional impairments caused by diseases of the Nervous System and the mechanisms involved in the functional recovery. To know the specific neurological signs and symptoms related to the pathologies of the Central and Peripheral Nervous System.

Program

Physiopathology and rehabilitation of sensorimotor dysfunctions resulting from cerebrovascular, inflammatory and traumatic lesions of the central nervous system.
Physiopathology and rehabilitation of sensorimotor dysfunctions resulting from lesions of the peripheral nervous system.
Physiopathology of motor and non-motor dysfunctions in neurodegenerative diseases.
Functional recovery after CNS and Peripheral lesions, and neuroplasticity.
