Learning outcomes
Acquisire la capacità di applicare le conoscenze apprese dalle lezioni frontali nella pianificazione del processo fisioterapico su casi clinici reali, videoregistrati, su carta, simulati affetti da patologie muscolo-scheletriche o neurologiche. Sviluppare il ragionamento clinico dalla raccolta dei dati alla pianificazione e realizzazione dell’intervento fisioterapico. Organizzare esercizi terapeutici tenendo conto dei principali aspetti (es. biomeccanici, comunicativi, educativi …) e di applicare tecniche di terapie manuali di base.
Program
The Laboratory will provide students with an exhaustive introduction to physiotherapy interventions by means of an analysis of case studies in the fields of neurology and orthopaedics, more specifically “case studies” and “video registrations”.
The critical appraisal of case studies includes the following phases:
o Reading activities: “case studies” and “video registrations”;
o Identifying assessment methods;
o Interpretation of data by means of diagnostic hypotheses;
o Identification of physiotherapy-related issues and their causes;
o Explanation of clinical reasoning and functional diagnosis;
o Definition of objectives;
o Planning and performing physiotherapy treatments in relation to the objectives identified.
Lessons will include the use of the guide of the educational physiotherapy folder.
