Frontal lesson with use of slides for the theoretical part, laboratory with practical demonstration of the most common manual drainage maneuvers and bandaging for the treatment part

Learning assessment procedures

The final exam is intended to verify the knowledge of the areas of physiotherapy intervention in the areas of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the problems of the cancer patient, including the sequelae of the pathology but also of the chemotherapeutic and surgical interventions and other therapies used in the treatment of this . Knowledge of the pathophysiology of the lymphatic system and how physiotherapeutic intervention can contribute to the treatment of lymphedema will also be evaluated.
Written test with open-ended questions, one for oncology and one for lymphology field

- knowledge of the topic discussed in class
- ability to identify problems, objectives and therapeutic tools of greatest physiotherapy interest within the didactic material provided
- ability to plan a physiotherapy intervention appropriate to a given lymphological problem
