1. Radiation, electromagnetic radiation, ionizing radiation. Image formation 2. X-rays and ɣ, interaction with matter and biological effects. 3. CT: physical principles and clinical applications 4. Dosimetry, natural and artificial radiation. 5. Radiation protection, organizations and professional figures involved. 6. Patient radiation protection, fundamental principles. 7. Ionizing radiation and pregnancy. 8. Radiation protection of the public and workers. 9. Ultrasound: physics, applications, biological effects. 10. Magnetic fields and radio waves: physical principles, biological effects, applications, safety standards. 11. Laser beams: physics, applications, biological effects.
