Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning objectives
Training objectives: The course aims to provide the student with techniques of clinical data collection, topical application of condoms, mechanical instrumentation and basic manual instrumentation, respecting work ergonomics and the correct working positions to prevent musculoskeletal disorders. The student will also have the opportunity to experiment with the first aid manoeuvres in the event of a health emergency, especially in the dental field
Prerequisites and basic notions
Theoretical contents of the 1st year of studies, and of the modules Mechanical dental hygiene techniques, Dental hygiene techniques in developmental age and Non-surgical periodontal therapy of the 2nd year. Frequency of laboratory activities and exercises scheduled for the 1st year. Passed the 1st year internship exam
