Learning outcomes

The course of Implant Dentistry is finalized to the university formation of the student of the Course of Degree in Oral Hygiene. To such end, the course is thought to offer a university formation in implant science.
Specific objective of the course is that to give the scientific knowledges to the student on the therapeutic planning of the perimplant compromise patients.

The biological basis of osseointegration and implant surface

The implant morphology: implant dimensions and the importance of implant-abutment connections

The timing of prosthetic loading: immediate – delayed- conventional

Full arch implant –prosthetic rehabilitations and bone graft: biological and prosthetic aspects

Implant dentistry and systemic conditions
