Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
The course introduces the student to the understanding of the determinants of health, risk factors, prevention strategies both individual and collective, and of interventions to promote the health and safety of their users. It also aims to understand the causes, the pathogenic mechanisms, and methods of prevention and control of infectious diseases.
Program
General classification of the teaching. Knowledge of the mechanisms of risk perception and the factors that influence it, tools and analysis of the risk assessment process, concepts and definition of danger and risks, identification of the main protection measures. Deepening of some specific topics (biological, allergic and ergonomic risk). Work safety and radioprotection regulations
