Learning outcomes

The third year will focus on the in-depth study of pediatric extracorporeal circulation techniques, blood circulation assistance, assistance during VAD device implants and heart transplant. The course focuses on the acquisition of knowledge and methodologies related to the profession, such as the ability to work in teams and in complexed organized contexts. The internship experience allows to test, with supervision, the gradual development of autonomy and responsibility, as well as the acquisition of scientific research skills and methodologies to support the elaboration of the final dissertation.
