Learning objectives
Learning Objectives: The aim of the course is the student's acquisition of the basics of electrocardiography. After a general overview concerning the formation and conduction of the cardiac impulse, the normal electrocardiogram is analyzed. The main hypokinetic and hyperkinetic arrhythmias, electrocardiographic features with mention of clinical aspects are then evaluated. The basics of cardiac electrostimulation and the characteristics of implantable defibrillators are also addressed. The main types of pacemaker malfunction and the 'use of the magnet are exposed. ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY, ARITHMOLOGY AND ELECTROSTIMULATION MODULE 1 Learning objectives: Acquire the cultural basis of cardiac anatomy and physiology (especially of the excitoconduction system). Understand the basis and meaning of electrocardiography, recognize normal and pathological ECG pictures. Recognize and diagnose on ECG the main brady and tachyarrhythmias. Understand the basic principles and physical assumptions of the cardiac electrostimulation and defibrillation system/circuit. ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY, ARITHMOLOGY AND ELECTROSTIMULATION MODULE 2 Learning Objectives: Acquire the cultural basis of cardiac anatomy and physiology (especially of the excitoconduction system). Understand the basis and meaning of electrocardiography, recognize normal and pathological ECG pictures. Recognize and diagnose on ECG oh the ICD e PM.
