Learning objectives

THORACIC SURGERY MODULE Aim of this course is to acknowledge basic elements of diagnosis, pathophysiology, diagnostic procedures, as well as therapeutic principles and practices of the main diseases of the lung and the chest of surgical interest. At the end of the course, the student will be able to: 1. Recognize indications and contraindications for the surgical treatment of the main lung and chest diseases. 2. Recognize the principles for the surgical treatment of the main thoracic and lung disease. MODULEOF METHODS AND TECNIQUES IN PNEUMOLOGY: Learning objectives: acquire basic knowledge on diagnostic techniques in pneumology and ability to interpret their findings; acquire the skills for the correct evaluation of instrumental data; observation of a working Lab of pulmonary physiopathology and ability to execute a tutored physiopathology test. MODULE OF PNEUMOLOGY AND DIAGNOSTIC IN PNEUMOLOGY: Learning objectives: to acquire knowledge on physiopathology, clinics, and therapies of the principal diseases of the lung. NEPHROLOGY MODULE Learning objectives: The nephrology course aims to provide a thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts regarding the anatomy and physiology of the kidney, as well as to examine the manifestations and causes of both acute and chronic renal pathologies. Furthermore, it aims to explore in detail the indications, methods, and principles underlying renal replacement therapy
