Learning outcomes

Knowledge of histopathological diagnostics from formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded tissues, from surgical specimens and cytology
From clinics to pathological specimens (cardiac, pulmonary and cerebral dysfunctions)
Oncological specimens and preneoplastic lesions at histology
Common methods used on tissue (immunohistochemistry and FISH molecular analysis)

Program

Tissue based-diagnostics at morphological level (H&E) and at immunophenotypical level (use of different antibodies)
Correlation in between clinics and pathological abnormalities (cardiac dysfunction, lung disease, cerebral dysfunction)
Methodology of tissue analysis (i.e. FISH)
Oncological and pre-neoplastic lesions on common parenchima and organs
