Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Program
The lectures will have as their main focus the study of the technical characteristics of extracorporeal circulation machines, their interaction with the biological systems of man, and the inflammatory pathology secondary to them. The short, medium and long term circulatory assisting devices will also be the subject of lectures
Bibliography
Didactic methods
Lectures, powerpoint documentation; web recording of lessons. Lessons can be recovered via DAD, with lessons "uploaded" on the Intranet site; the teacher is available - by appointment - for any clarifications relating to students who have had to perform DAD due to force majeure
Learning assessment procedures
An oral exam will be carried out aimed at evaluating theoretical knowledge of extracorporeal circulation and VAD systems. The oral exam will be carried out by the various teachers of the Integrated Course, who will ask questions relating to the Course itself or in any case available on the Institutional Website. The exam will be expressed in XX / 30, and will take into account the individual assessments of each member of the examination commission
Evaluation criteria
The degree of knowledge and learning of extracorporeal circulation and VAD systems will be considered in the final evaluation
