Learning outcomes

Learning the principles of surgical technique for the correction of the main acquired heart diseases. Learning the techniques extracorporeal perfusion during cardiovascular surgery.

Program

1. Ischemic acute and chronic heart disease: Surgical technique of myocardial revascularization and cardiovascular perfusion techniques. Beatinh heart revascularization procedures.
2. Surgical correction of acute myocardial infarction complications. Acute mitral insufficiency by rupture of papillary muscle; Left ventricular free wall rupture; post myocardial infarction ventricular septal defect; postinfarction left ventricular aneurysm and pseudoaneurysm. Principles of surgical technique and cardiovascular perfusion.
3.Aortic valve disease: surgical replacement therapy or aortic valve repair. Techniques minimally invasive approach to the aortic valve. TAVI: transcatheter aortic valve implantation.
4. Mitral valve disease: surgical technique replacement or mitral valve repair. Techniques minimally invasive approach to the mitral valve.
5. Pathology of the aortic root: Technique of repair or replacement of the aortic root and cardiovascular perfusion.
6. heart valve prosthesis. Types, implanting techniques and complications.
7. Cardiac tumors: Types and indications for intervention. Principles of surgical technique.
8. Left and right Ventricular Assistance: Principles of surgical technique and cardiovascular perfusion. ECMO: Principles of surgical technique and cardiovascular perfusion.
9. Heart transplant: Surgical therapy: indications and types of intervention.
10. Aortic aneurysms and aortic dissection: Surgical technique and cardiovascular perfusion techniques. Deep hypothermia and Techniques of brain protection during cardiac surgery.
11.Cardiac trauma and traumatic rupture of the aorta: Surgical therapy: indications and types of intervention.
