Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide the main theoretical and practical elements related to the psychology of groups and organizations, with particular attention to the dynamics of communication and to work stress.
Program
The communication: definitions; pragmatics of human communication (five axioms of communication ); proxemics; behavioral styles; emotional intelligence; active listening and empathetic communication.
The group : the group concept; types of groups; group work and group work; team building; structural phenomena of group ( status , roles, leaders and leadership , standards ) ; dynamic phenomena ( cohesion , conformity , deviance conflict ); normalizing effect and polarization .
The organization:culture and organizational climate; organizational well-being; stress ( definition, general adaptation syndrome, eustress and distress, stressor, the role of individual characteristics) locus of control; coping; problem solving; psychosocial risks in organizations ( burnout, mobbing).
