Learning outcomes

The course consist of comprehensive didactic review of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) (measures and guidelines), that must be practiced in all mammography facilities, in order to assure the most accurate diagnoses for all patients.

Program

- the parameters in digital imaging that control resolution and contrast
- newly emerging technologies used with digital mammographic imaging.
- an effective QA program
- QA, the various stages of the imaging chain: acquisition, processing and display
- AEC system QC testing
