Program

1) General principles of Occupational Medicine and prevention in the workplace. Legislation on health and safety in the workplace.
2) The main occupational hazards. Risk assessment, health surveillance, information, education and training of workers
3) Preventive and occupational medicine in health care workers: Biological Risk, Chemical and Allergological Risk, Risks from the use of Video Display Screen, Risks from Non-Ionizing Radiation (Electromagnetic Fields)
4) Gender and Work.
5) Ergonomic risk in the healthcare workplace.
6) Occupational injuries. Work-related illnesses and work-related diseases. Medico-legal obligations.
