Oscillations and waves - harmonic motion.
Fourier theorem - Fourier transform.
Electric charge and electric field. Flux of the electric field and Gauss theorem - potential - current.
Ohm's laws. Electrical power and dissipation. Electrical quantities in a x-ray tube. Superconductivity. Faraday's law. Maxwell's equations. Lorentz force. The cyclotron. Superconducting magnets in MRI. Gradients of B and the principles of image formation in MRI.
Quantum theory: basic ideas. Characteristic x radiation and bremsstrahlung radiation.
Alfa - beta - gamma radioactivity. Radioisotopes in medicine. Interaction between radiation and matter: photoelectric effect, Compton effect and pair production.
