"Fundamentals of electrical engineering and electrical measurements"
Electrical quantities. Conducting and insulating bodies. Voltage and electric current. Electric two-pole concept. Series and parallel connection. Ohm's laws. Joule effect and electrical power. Kirchhoff principles. Current and voltage divider. Electrical capacitance and inductance. Sinusoidal quantities. Measuring instruments for electrical quantities: multimeter and oscilloscope. Some applications of electrical phenomena in the biomedical field: strain gauges and potentiometers for the measurement of physiological parameters, electrical impedance tomography.
"Fundamentals of signal conditioning and analog-digital conversion"
Analog and digital signals. Measuring transducers. Analog-digital conversion. Sampling theorem. Application of measurement sensors in medical radiology imaging techniques.
"Elements of measurement theory"
Definition and purpose of a measurement. Error theory: systematic and accidental errors; errors of instrumental insensitivity. Error propagation.
