Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

The role of information technology applied to statistics in health facilities and its use for management purposes, public health surveillance and epidemiological assessment.
Program
Illustration of the current health informative flows and their IT management (focus on examples about informative flows used in APSS - Trento).
Criteria for the use of data within the informative flows: operational, clinical and epidemiological plan.
The array of data (dataset).
Statistical analysis, representation of health data and spread of results. Synthetic representations of data: frequency distributions, graphs, centrality and variability indices.
Exercises on PC with the use of Excel.
Integrated use of informative flows and health datasets. Literature and examples of applications in APSS.
Examination Methods
Practical exam with the PC: two exercises to solve with Excel.
