Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Learning outcomes
This part aims to provide students with the competences for the analysis and interpretations of the main organizational configurations in which they will work in order to understand their advantages, disadvantages and opportunities for improvement. At the same time, the subjects of organizational culture and the organizational roots of accidents occuring in organizations will be treated.
The second part of the course aims to provide the students with some basic notions concerning the statistics, the dynamics and the main dimensions to be taken into account in the sociology of work, focusing the italian labour market adopting a cross-country comparative approach. Moreover, the students will have the oppurtunity to discuss the empirical materials provided by the teacher

In detail, the following subjects will be treated:
- Definition of the concept of organization;
- What the organizational structure is;
- The main configurations of the organizational macrostructure;
- The organizational culture;
- The dark side of culture;
- Unintentional consequences of organizational action;
- The organizational construction of accidents.
