Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the necessary elements for understanding the interaction between the individual and the work environment, with particular reference to the dynamics of work-related stress and safety in the workplace. It also addresses the issue of safety communication from a sociological perspective. The dynamics of social construction and acceptance of risk will then be analyzed, and elements for reflection on safety management and communication tools will be prepared. WORK AND ORGANIZATION PSYCHOLOGY MODULE Learning objectives: The course aims to provide an introduction related to theoretical approaches, psychosocial risk factors, and work-related stress assessment and interventions. The topics covered deal with work-related stress and its links to workers' health and safety. The course intends to focus on work-related stress as an emerging phenomenon and will be structured as follows. Work-related stress: - definition of the stress process and initial study approaches - description of the antecedents and consequences of the stress phenomenon - impact of personal factors - role of theoretical models - how to set up a work-related stress assessment - hints on prevention.
