Identification and prevention of the most relevat risks related with the use of huge quantities of water in structures of public use.

Program

Swimming pools

National and regional set of rules (aim, definitions, differences between the national and regional acts).
Plant components and related critical issues: description, requirements and management.
Main physical, chemical and microbiological risks associated with swimming pools: hazard analysis, risk assessment and risk management.
Documents and forms for risk management and internal audit: description and practical examples.


Risks related to the presence of Legionella

Description of the bacterium and main health-related problems.
Conditions and factors promoting the survival and proliferation of the pathogen.
National and regional laws and guidelines (aim, definitions and differences).
Main settlement and development sites: functioning, features and components of plants that can be colonized by Legionella.
Strategies for hazard analysis, risk assessment and risk management.
Documents and forms for risk management and internal audit: description and practical examples.
