Learning objectives

The course aims to provide students with regulatory and technical knowledge concerning the requisites necessary for an environment to be used as a workplace. The aspects relating to the health, safety and ergonomics of workers will be studied in depth, referring to the production areas, the service areas and the peculiarities related to the type of work performed.

Analysis of Title II of Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent amendments Definition of workplace and related requirements (assessment criteria for buildings or premises to be used as workplaces in production environments and in the tertiary sector) Workplaces and workers disabled people The exceptions The new production sites The works in particular places (e.g. confined spaces) Analysis and study of practical cases
