Laurea magistrale in Scienze motorie preventive ed adattate - Enrollment from 2025/2026I Regolamenti dei corsi di laurea e di laurea magistrale di scienze motorie prevedono che gli studenti possano completare il proprio piano didattico, frequentando oltre agli insegnamenti obbligatori anche delle attività formative a scelta, per approfondire alcuni aspetti tematici o settori di interesse, in coerenza con il proprio percorso formativo.
Le attività formative a scelta di ambito D sono indicate all’interno del piano didattico del corso di studio prescelto, mentre le attività formative di ambito F sono individuate da una apposita commissione di docenti. Queste ultime attività possono essere conferenze, seminari, webinar, altro e vengono acquisite con una valutazione e non con un voto in trentesimi.

Learning objectives
At the end of the course, students will be in possession of: A. Knowledge about the role of physical activities in successful ageing, in some kinds of disabilities and diseases; B. Competencies to plan, program and conduct adapted physical activities, in different settings, for older people, persons with some disabilities and with some kinds of chronic disease.
Prerequisites and basic notions
The student is required to have a good knowledge of cardiovascular and metabolic physiology and muscle contractility.
Program
The course program focuses on the pathophysiological phenomena of the most common chronic diseases that alter exercise capacity. Students will learn how to evaluate limiting factors, and how physical conditions can be improved through an adapted exercise program.

The exam will consist of an oral test
Evaluation criteria
The weighted average of the oral exams constituting the different modules of the course will be used for the evaluation of the students. At the same time, the students will have to present specific insights into the topics covered through a Journal Club.
