Lo scopo del corso è quello di dare le conoscdenze di base per sviluppare correttamente strategie sostenibili di controllo delle malattie; affrontare i temi legati alla lotta integrata; approfondire la conoscenza degli strumenti da usare nei protocolli di lotta guidata; approfondire le conoscenze sui mezzi di lotta con particolare enfasi per quei metodi che evitano l'uso di prodotti chimici
