Learning objectives

Ability to choose the most appropriate instrumentations to evaluate physiological and biomechanical variables to evaluate human movement and physical exercise. Know the benefits and the limitations of the current technologies and methodologies to evaluate the perfor-mance. Ability to process acquired signals to extrapolate the parameters to obtain biomechanical or physiological information. Ability to represent acquired data in diagram and graphs and to analyze significant differences between groups or conditions.

Program

The main objectives of the course are:
1- Understand the operating principles (advantages and limitations) of the leading equipment necessary for a correct functional evaluation of physical exercise and human movement;
2- to attain competence in selecting adequate instrumentation and the appropriate experimental methods for acquiring biomechanical and physiological variables.

Learning assessment procedures

It was a writing exam. It consists of ten open questions in 30 minutes.
Laboratory: A written exam (mandatory) lasting 40 minutes is expected
