The course aims to provide the necessary elements for the effective promotion of oral health, which is a factor of socio-cultural growth and must be based on multidisciplinary interventions.

Carie Prevention: Guidelines 2014.
Caries: etiology, developmental mechanism, cariogenic and non-dental cariogenic lesions.
Caries Risk Assessment: Caries Risk Assessment for Age groups and Clinical Treatment Protocols.
Epidemiological index: DMFT, DMFS, dmft, dmfs, dfs, dft.
Floruri: fluoride metabolism, cariostatic mechanism.
Topical and systemic fluoridation.
Diet and dietary evaluation.
Salivary Test.
