Learning objectives

Prerequisites and basic notions
The 3rd year internship will be carried out with the prerequisite that the student has attended the internship of the previous years and the related laboratories.
Program
The third-year internship is based on protected care. Program: Skills in work techniques Use of instruments Working as a first operator Operator-patient work positions Patient motivation Management of periodontal patients Management of pedodontic patients Management of all types of patients Use of oral hygiene protocols Use of specific protocols in patients with systemic diseases Greater professional autonomy Correct use of manual instruments Drafting of a treatment plan appropriate to the specific clinical case

Didactic methods
The third-year internship is based on protected care, in which the intern can carry out activities independently, following the instructions given by the tutor/supervisor. These activities do not pose any risk to themselves or the user.
Learning assessment procedures
The exam will be held in written format with 10 multiple choice questions.
Evaluation criteria
The evaluation will take into account the internship experience and the written exam.
